Geneviève Charbonneau is a fashion photographer since 2005. Originally from Montreal, she studied photography at the Cégep du Vieux-Montreal where she graduated in 1999. She first made her classes as an assistant for famous photographers in Canada and then Australia. Her solo career started quickly a few years later and she rapidly got involved with various Canadian publications such as LOULOU, Clin d'Oeil, Chatelaine, Pure, Glow, Kill and Zink. She also signs various campaigns for renowned Canadian clothing retailers including Smart Set, Dex, Mexx, Reitmans, Shan, Patrick Larivée and Nadya Toto and made her mark in the world of beauty with the production of advertisements for Pantene, starring Marie-ève Janvier, Noir Cosmétiques and many others. In 2009, she participated in the exhibition entitled Woman X Woman in Toronto which featured the work of Canadian women fashion photographers handpicked and the Cosmos exhibition at the Fine Arts Museum of Montreal in 1999. Genevieve Charbonneau is known for her dynamic images, stained with positive energy and glamorous modern touch, always putting forward the beauty of her subjects.
